Which version of the Land Rover Discovery 4 should I get?

I would like to replace my Jeep Cherokee 2000 model, which has done 150,000 miles, with a Land Rover Discovery 4 and, as it will be the last big car I buy, I am hoping to find an ex-demo to save something off the cost of a new one. Should I look older for a 2.7-litre TDV6, which I found sluggish on take off, or go for the most up-to-date 3.0-litre SDV6 8-speed automatic?

Go for the SDV6 8-speed automatic. The 8-speeder manages the engine power and torque much more effectively.
