Is it worth taking out a BMW tyre and shortfall insurance for £750?

I just bought a 1-year-old BMW 520d with 9000 miles on the clock. The dealer is offering a package of 3-year tyre and shortfall insurance for £750 instead of £1150. Do you think this type of insurance is worthwhile? My annual mileage is around 11,000.

It's worthwhile for the dealer who will probably make at least £500 commission on £750. Far cheaper from people like www.warranty-direct.co.uk
