Insurance versus paying yourself - what would you do?
We have had a slight knock on the front wing of our 2009 Honda Civic and our dealer quotes £900 for the spares and fix.
The fault is entirely ours so I am interested to know if there is some sort of breakpoint between claiming on insurance and paying ourselves?
The insurance is via John Lewis, is fully comprehensive and with NCB protestion.

As long as it involves nobody else and nobody else is likely to report it then better to have it fixed youtself and not report it at all because the claim will affect your premiums for about 5 years.
