Is a leaking windscreen covered by my car insurance?

We have a 2017 Renault Zoe, covered by Admiral, including windscreen cover. The windscreen is leaking. Do you know if this is covered by the additional windscreen cover, please?

Or is windscreen cover for cracks, chips and breaks?

The car has develop another motor fault and the dealer has said the might be due to the water leak.

Typically windscreen cover provided by insurers covers repairs for chips and replacement in the event of significant damage, so we would not expect it to cover a leak, although we would recommend checking the terms and conditions of the policy and contacting your insurer for advice if necessary.
