Where can I find a space saver spare for my Volvo?
My 2022 Volvo XC40 T3 petrol (not hybrid) did not come with a spacesaver spare wheel, only the gunk and inflator kit, not satisfactory. The 18-inch 5-stud spacesavers for this car are hard to find at breakers. Can you suggest a different car that may have a compatible wheel, which may be more available?
Many years ago HJ recommended Mini Metro spare wheels as compatible with my Honda Jazz. They are, and I found one easily at a breakers for that car! I still have it.

The XC40 has a 63.4mm hub bore and a bolt pattern of 5x108, which it shares with the contemporary S60, V60, XC60 and XC90 models, so a space saver from one of these would fit your XC40. However, a better solution may be to buy a new spare wheel - Volvo will sell you a spare wheel and associated tools directly, but there are alternatives from independent retailers such as thewheelshop.co.uk at a cheaper price.
