Noisy tyres
At speeds below 50mph I get a "rotational" noise, which I am told by Carr's of Bury St Edmunds is down to the run flats (It sounds like a wheel bearing going u/s on a 1960's car).
I drive regularly on German roads at fairly high speeds. They are Continental tyres and have done about 10,000 miles. Is there any safety issue and is there a better make when I need a change.

It's the fact that they have got to the point of wear that a larger section of the tyre is permanently in contact with the road and this increases the noise level.
