When does my car insurance expire?

How can I find out when a car's insurance expires?

It's important to point out that the insurance policy effectively belongs to a person rather than a car. The policy holder and any other named drivers on that policy are insured to drive one or more cars. You can check when an insurance policy expires by looking at your policy documents, logging into your account on the insurance company's website or contacting the insurer directly.
