How long does a SORN take to process?
I intend to SORN my car from the beginning of December. How late can I leave the declaration in order to receive a refund from 1 December?

Technically speaking your SORN should start 'immediately' according to the DVLA. To be on the safe side we would leave one working day for processing delays, perhaps SORN the car on 29 November.
