Can you recommend a saloon car under £10,000?
I travel daily from Kendal, Cumbria to Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria, it's roughly a 68 mile round trip. Which saloon cars do you recommend for under £10,000 that are good on MPG?

A Volkswagen Passat could be a good option. You'll get the latest model (launched in 2015) within budget. The 2.0-litre diesel will be more pleasant than the 1.6 and the difference in real-world economy is marginal (www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/volkswagen/passat-2015).
Alternatively, a Mazda 6 would be a nice left-field choice.
