Do I have to report a minor accident to my insurance company?

Another drive hit my car at about 2mph at traffic lights last month. He admitted fault and paid cash for the estimate for repair. It was minor damage.

Do I need to report this to my insurance company? No claims are being made on either side.

Although you're not making a claim and neither is the third party, you should still technically report it to your insurer.
