Could you recommend a car for a tall driver?

My budget is £10,000 and I'm 6'7" with very long legs so need good leg room when driving. I was wondering whether I would suit driving SUVs instead of hatchbacks? If so, do you have recommendations of good, reliable cars with decent acceleration and fuel economy?

Most cars will accommodate a tall driver, the problems arise when you try and carry an adult passenger in the rear seat (behind the driver). Some cars will let you push the driver's seat quite far back, but this reduces rear legroom to near zero.

If you want a hatchback with lots of legroom in the front and rear then something like the Skoda Octavia might suit your needs: www.honestjohn.co.uk/cars-for-sale/search/Skoda/Oc...0

However, if you want an SUV you might be better off with something like the Suzuki Vitara: www.honestjohn.co.uk/cars-for-sale/search/Suzuki/V...0

Or the Toyota RAV4: www.honestjohn.co.uk/cars-for-sale/search/Toyota/R...0
