  Having trawled through Autotrader and HJ's CBCD I've come up with a short list and would appreciate your feedback: Citroen C5 Estate 2.0i/2.2 HDi Ford Mondeo 2.0i/2.0 TDCi Zetec-S/Ghia X Honda Accord 2.0i SE Exec (old shape) MG ZT+ 1.8t 160 Saab 9-5 2.0t Vauxhall Omega 2.2i CD I've briefly run the Mondeo and Rover 75 in the past and liked them. The Mondeo is a strong contender but is there anything else worth considering?

  Not to hi-jack daisy1's thread, here's a polish related phenomenon. I've used Turtle Wax since the dawn of recorded time, it always seemed good enough to me and the right price. However, here's something odd on which maybe the buffs (no pun) out there can throw some light.
• Skoda Fabia - Wrongful Cat S marker 25 May 2022 (Forum)
  He’s had the car for 3 years and its never been in an accident. On further investigation, he discovered it was now marked as a Cat S. His insurance company know nothing about it, and confirmed there had been no claims against the vehicle. Does anyone know how to resolve this, and get the Cat S removed? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

  A mate of mine is considering buying a Cooper S which does not have aircon as standard equipment. I have pointed out that aircon is virtually essential these days. He is reluctant to spend extra as his current car has aircon and he rarely, if ever, uses it.

  this morning i went to work, all was well with my 1998 s reg td mondeo. got in the car after work and after starting the car i noticed the airbag warning light was flashing! the car was parked in the sun all day and the temp was about 30 degrees, could the temp be a contributing factor?

  Hi Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying auto-locking on the otherwise excellent Jaguar S-type? In the manual it says it can only be done at a Jag dealer which is silly when most other cars tell you how to do it in the manual. Please can someone shed some light? Thanks ic

  IS there any way to correct the toe in setting for the o/s/r tyre, it looks as though it is pointing in too far, confirmed by a 4-wheel alignment system. It makes the car pull to the left slightly, as well as wearing out the rear right tyre more quickly than the others Cheers, Andy

  Bit of a wierd one this. Today was annual service and MOT day for the C-Max. I always send it to the local Ford main dealer using their collection and delivery service, because it helps take managing two small children out of the equation. Anyway, to cut a long story short instead of my car turning up at the end of the day, a chap from the Ford main dealer rang my bell to ask if I had a spare set of keys?

  I checked the fluids last night (after 600 miles since I last checked it) and noticed the oil was below minimum but the pressure light is not coming on and the water was on min despite it being on max last time I checked (engine cold both times). I have topped them both up now, but the car stalled 3 times today, is this likely to back up what my mechanic says about the clutch? There is also a low speed judder though the coil pack etc is original (from 97) so I assumed it was just that.

  I checked the User's manual and it says it should go off and if it wouldn't, it indicates an engine malfunction and recommends that the car checked immediately by Ford Agent. I read from a Subaru Impreza GX (2003 Model) car user's manual and it explained the exhaust emission problem when the engine illuminator wont go off. However, this is Ford. Maybe different case.
