  i have got a escort gti 1998. the problem is that the n/s front is higher than the o/s front. when i checked from top of tyre to arch it is 1" lower on the o/s front. the spring looks ok. no knocking and steering ok. but something is wrong but what.... please help if you can.

  The cost was almost 10k Now my neighbour who is LR mad has had the same thing happen to him and a question to HJ on this months HJ advice column confirms that there is a problem of excessive oil consumption with the Ford sourced engine. As LR don't seem to be accepting any responsibility for this fault do you know of any class actions from unhappy customers. But will nothing dampen these LR s fans enthusiasm ? My neighbour has already ordered a Defender !
