Ashtray/Cd tray Mk5 Fiesta 28 Aug 2003 (Forum)
I have a Mk5 fiesta and it came as standard with a ashtray fitted. I have seen several other Mk5's that are fitted with a Cd storage tray/coin holder fitted as a optional fit item instead of the ashtray. Does anyone know if this is available as a spare part conversion, i've tried my ford dealer and they are saying that its a production line fitted item only. -

Worn Ford key 21 Mar 2002 (Forum)
however the steering lock was a pig to get off, and I really did not want to break it just to get it home... with alot of swearing and fiddling we got it off and got the car home, only to find that the spare key worked fine, and the key was at fault not the ignition barrel, DOH! a wasted hour and a half! I have never liked fords, or their keys. At least it was cheap to fix, a new key costing less that an ignition barrel, and possibly a busted steering lock if my patience didn't hold out! Any body else had a problem with worn keys on Fords or other marques? -

Why do people..... 20 May 2014 (Forum)
There are peope in the Back Room who drive very nice cars, but one assumes that they can afford to buy/lease and run them. I can afford to drive cars which cost a lot more than my S-Max, but it suits my purpose and at the moment, I can find better things to do with my money. But I simply despair when I read, yet again, the same phrases: - "I only have £1,000 to spend and I want to buy a two year old (sic) BMW". -
Petrol or Diesel for long term ownership 14 Feb 2014 (Forum)
As the three smallest are going to be all big by the end of that next decade, I need it to be quite a large vehicle. I have in mind the C4 Grand Picasso, S-Max, Galaxy (ex Addison Lee perhaps), Zafira, or maybe an estate like a Mondeo or Passat. Question is, diesel or petrol. I know the conventional view is low-users should go for petrol, but does the 10y cycle change this? -
Nissan Juke - Happy Pink has a new car! 17 Mar 2013 (Forum)
They say the best way to test drive a car is to rent one. So three years ago I was given an S-Max rental and three years later I am still driving the one I bought as soon as I got home. Christmas saw us in a Nissan Juke. Very happy with the car, had a good crawl over and SWMBO announced that it was a suitable candidate to replace the five year old A-Class. -
Suggestions for my next car 21 Jan 2007 (Forum)
Or should I go for a lower mileage car and change it after 1 year? My budget will be £4K max. My preferences would be something nice to drive, automatic preferred [easier when you in unfamiliar towns and cities] 4 door and not too thirsty. Not bothered about petrol or diesel. Something 'flash' would be nice but not essential. -
headlights and DLR 24 Mar 2006 (Forum)
My final thought on the headlamp subject is dim-dip should be reinstated and used around town and the 4x4s need to have the beam aimed at max 5% not 1.25%. -
Mopeds. 20 Sep 2001 (Forum)
well if i worked in my local area, i'd sell my car and buy one ! The only thing that'd put me off is the 35mph max speed and the puny noise it makes, but i'd put up with that when i'd be saving all that money that i'd be paying out for my car ! Rgds, Ash. -
