`Tupped` by French behemoth in city street 23 Aug 2008 (Forum)
I was struck by the fragility of the human condition..the loneliness of sentience, despite friendships and the overarching brooding of impending eternity and non-existence. Despite our 120 collective years, that would likely be our only interaction. So what`s the point? Well, two things really. Firstly all this took place under the scrutiny of the city camera`s and she had not put a 30min (max) ticket on her motor. I watched front and back, for the appearance of the Stasi, that have now taken to wearing fleeces as a uniform in an attempt to blend in and creep up on you unnoticed. -

do you think it?s possible that this closeness (probably only 5mm) between the metal surround of the cap and the leads is leading to the bad running? Any thoughts at all would be really appreciated ? I?m deeply confused? -

Audi A4/BMW 3 - Seeking for a new long-term car 7 Aug 2023 (Forum)
Hello, It'll 10 years this January since I've been driving my Ford Fiesta 1.25 MK7. I'm saving up money now, hoping to find a suitable replacement that would last me for another period of 10 years. My max budget is maximum £10k (taking into account Fiesta P/X), and I would look to drive around 7k miles/annum. -
Best Used 5-seat MPV? 17 Oct 2015 (Forum)
Pefer petrol to diesel Don't need high top speed or amazing performance We keep our cars for about 8 years -- our current Ford C-max Style is 2007. We have been quite happy with it, so would go for one again possibly. We like a versatile vehicle which we can take our friends in -- so good legroom in the back for adults is important. -

Another what to buy 5 Dec 2018 (Forum)
I do find I am sitting quite low in the corsa, I have arthritis and I tend to 'roll' out of the car, I did have a look at the Fabia and found the driving position to be higher than the Corsa, Do any members of this forum have any good or bad experiences of either the C3 or the Fabia, or should I be looking at a small SUV, for example the Ingis or S-Cross from Suzuki? -
Audi A1 - Do I need new rear tyres? 18 May 2018 (Forum)
Hello all I hope you can help me! I have 4 x 215/45R16 90V Bridgestone Turanza T001's on my 2015 Audi A1, which has done just over 22,000 miles. The front tyres are approaching the legal minimum, so I am looking at getting these replaced within the next week or two. The rear tyres, on the other hand, have 5.5 mm of tread left, however, as you can see from the attached photos, ever since I have owned the car (bought used nearly 2 years ago), there have been cracks visible in the grooves. -
Ford Ka 1.3l, R Reg (1998) - Ford Ka Braking Issue 25 Jun 2016 (Forum)
A week later he took it to Kwik Fit to fit a new back box on the exhaust and they said the n/s front wheel was red hot, he took it to another garage as he couldn't get hold of his mate, (and still can't), they had it a week and they changed the calipers and master cylinder but the brakes were still binding, they didn't know what else to do so gave it back to him with the brakes still binding and suggested he go to a Ford dealer who might be able to help but he is reluctant to do that as the costs are now mounting and cant really afford the charges. -

My dad has an A6 2.5 tdi (late 2001 with approx 35k miles) and every time he checks the oil level it is over the max mark on the dipstick. He took it back to his dealer who drained some of the oil down until it was at the correct level. The next day it was over the max mark again. Rang the dealer (main Audi) who said they could not understand it. -
Mazda 6 Estate 2015 - Excessive tyre noise 25 Apr 2021 (Forum)
I have a 2015 Mazda 5 estate riding on 225/45 R19 tyres. Recently I've noticed what seems like excessive tyre noise and vibration and am wondering if alignment/tracking will help with this. I have had a few bumps against high pavements as well as driving through some poor quality roads with large potholes.
