Suzuki Jimny 1.3 JLX+ 1 Feb 2007 (Forum)
We are thinking of buying one. It is is for semi-rural driving, max. 6,000 mls/yr, to keep 5 yrs max. Should we be overly worried by absence of airbags? Opinions on any aspect of car (reliability, driving in snow, etc.) most welcome. -

Porsche Boxster 986 + Boxster S (1996 - 2004) - Which boxster to buy??? 30 Nov 2014 (Forum)
After scouring autotrader it looks as though my £12/13k budget offers me a '98/'99 model with 60/80k miles on the clock, although more basic spec models with lower mileage can be found. Any advise? So, I have £10 - 15k(max) to spend and dont know where to start. A £10 - 12k, 2.5litre feels like a safe option, but with no experience I am only going on gut instinct. Your opinions are much appreciated. -

Ford Focus - Claim made against me even though not my fault 24 May 2010 (Forum)
On the brighter side, they did pay up quickly and I got a lot more than expected. They paid £3600 and it was a 2002 focus tdci, 100k miles. I'd only expected £2500 max. So if I deduct say £500 for increased premiums over the next few years until I recover my max ncb I'm still a few hundred better off?! -

Ford Focus Zetec - Transmission issue 1 Jul 2020 (Forum)
So I’m having an issue with what I believe to be the transmission on my 2011 Ford Focus Zetec (auto). I understand there have been known issues with the transmission on these models and I had it changed when I bought the car in 2015. Basically when driving home this evening, I found on a couple of occasions the car really struggled to pull away, and at one point I thought it wasn’t going to make it. -
