Which used MPV?

We use large rear facing isofix car seats for our child (soon to be two children. I doubt there will be a third!) until age 4 for safety reasons.

I am looking for a used medium sized MPV (Toyota Verso etc). Needs plenty of passenger space between the rear and the front seats to accomodate these car seats, with no cubby holes in the passenger floor. Also needs good safety, reliability and economy. Budget £4-5K. What would you suggest?

You previously suggested a Nissan Note, but I want something slightly bigger with number two on the way.

Citroen Xsara Picasso, Renault Scenic, Ford C-Max. Personally I think these rear facing 'safety' seats are daft. I'd far rather travel facing forwards, whatever slight increase in risk there may be. And I'd always put the child seat centre rear so the child in it can see forwards between the front driver and passenger. Then the child is much less likely to be sick.
