  Rather than hijack pdc's road widening thread something tangentially related as it could involve mamba road works. Certain lorry manufacturers are lobbying the EU for an increase of the max vehicle weight to 60 tonnes gvw and increase the max length. I believe this is for a lorry and drawbar trailer outfit. Their argument is that bigger loads will reduce number of lorries on the roads.

  Hello, I have got a Zafira B. I'm facing a strange problem, the engine oil level is more than MAX level (about 1cm above MAX level). I send to garage and drain 0.5 lit of engine oil, after that, the oil level is around MAX level. After 200KM running, check oil level again, the level is again at 1cm above MAX level.

  Hello   The battery light on my c max comes up after 30 seconds of starting up     The alternator is charging 14.1 volts with everything on so presume the smart charge is ok  New battery on it so batterys ok New aux belt so not slipping  Can anyone suggest what else it might be    Thanks

  These figures are around 10% more than I use to get. I've check the trip computer, fuel fill up tank to tank and mileage etc. The car is a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi 109 and using BP ultimate diesel. Is anyone else getting these kinds of economy returns from their TD's ? Any ideas ?

  It seems companies everywhere are offering sat nav for what seems a reasonable price. But I dont want to spend £200+ and find out I have bought a poor choice. My budget is £250 max can anybody offer me some advice (i'm sure lots of people on here can!) and remember keep it simple (sat nav for idiots!) Thanks in advance Rich p.s my car is a 2005 Ford Ka if that has any bearing on what sat nav system i can or can't have.

  The car should seat 5 comfortably, be of decent quality (it needs to last) and have a boot big enough to fit a small inflatable boat when folded up (about 1.0m by 0.5m). Budget about 16-19k. Have already looked at the C-Max but i'm not a fan - the rear seats are awkward and we have had appaling aftersales service from Ford in the past. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your time.
