Take the Golf for example: In a basic form, the Ford Focus is better. The Golf only gets good from Gt Tdi's, GTi 150 Turbos, V5's and V6's upwards. VW has some good engines, granted: But I've so many friends that have nothing but serious faults and quality issues. -
