  • Ford C-Max 1.6 TDCi 2008 - Warranty Direct claim 16 Jul 2013 (Forum)
Hi, Recently, my car wasn't running quite as it should, so I ran my diag tool on it and it came back with the error P1402. This is reporting that the EGR orifice is restricted. This has been confirmed by my local Ford dealership. One of Warranty Direct's exclusions is carbon build up. Even though I've paid the extra on the policy for the optional cover, which covers emissions, and specifically lists the EGR valve, I'm not covered.

  • \'91 Golf 1.6 clunking when accelerating. 4 Feb 2004 (Forum)
Very soon after its MOT, it has started making a single clunking noise seemingly beneath the driver\'s side footwell when accelerating from a stop. It\'s definitely when applying max torque i.e. in first gear (even when pulling away gently). I know cars can clunk when CV\'s are shot, but the steering is not a factor.

  • C-Max 1.8 TDCi? 20 Mar 2006 (Forum)
I am looking into these and prviously thought the cmax only came with the Ford/PSA 1.6 TDCI or the Ford 136PS 2.0. Now I look around for discounted ones and see they are offered with the 1.8 TDCI as well. I assume this is the same unit as in the Focus? Why are they offering this engine as well?

Had an issue crop up today on my 2015 Focus, the central locking AND electric window have all failed on the nearside rear passenger door.  The door seems electrically dead.  All other doors and body systems appear unaffected.  Car is under warranty but was wondering if anyone has encountered a multi electrical failure isolated to only one door before?
  • Isuzu D-Max Rodeo Denver (2003 - ) - Beam converters 23 Mar 2008 (Forum)
When I come back to blighty for a visit, I need to stop the lights dazzling. But my lights (Isuzu D-Max 2008) are those funny ones like a Ford Puma - clear lens, no reflector, and the bulb sits behind a sort of round glass ball. So how do I convert them for driving on the left? I spoke to Isuzu here and they didn't seem to understand what I was talking about.
