Vauxhall Zafira Tourer - DPF on Zafira tourer and S-Max 17 Feb 2014 (Forum)
Hi all, I currently have a 2007 Mazda 5 2.0 diesel which I am planning on replacing with either a Zafira tourer or Ford S-Max. One thing I have never liked about my Mazda is the fact that it dumps un-burnt fuel from failed DPF regens into the oil sump. Does anyone know if the Zafira tourer and S-Max also do the same? -

I believe it's a fairly common problem for the boot lock switch on the C-Max to fail when a bit of moisture gets it. I've read somewhere, and I can't recall where, that it's just a microswitch that needs replacing instead of the Ford option which is the complete unit at £££'s. -

Hi, I am getting a new car next month and under it's current configuration, I can't link my Ipod to it. (Other than the 'Aux in' which isn't what I'm looking for) The car is a Ford S-Max Titanium and comes with a Ford 6006 6CD unit. In my current BMW I have a Dension Ice Link that lets me use my Ipod connected to the stereo and have full use of the steering wheel controls. That is what I'm looking for - my Ipod controlled by the steering wheel controls and permantely connected to my stereo. -

I?ve often heard that to start a car?s engine requires more fuel than leaving it running at a set of traffic lights for a short while? Is this true? If you have a warm engine, why does it need ?extra? fuel to start it? If this is true, how long would you need to be waiting at the lights before it becomes more economical to turn the engine off and re-start when the lights go green?
