But the top seller at the 25 October Auction was a 1967 Porsche 912 SWB Targa, which sold for £40,590. Following closely behind the Porsche at the Sandown Park sale in Surrey was a 1965 Ford Mustang. This also nudged over top estimate, achieving £33,000. In total, 71% of lots found new homes, which almost all of the automobilia sold, including a 1930s Royal Enfield lady’s bicycle and a 1950s Rudge men’s bicycle. Barons’ final sale of 2016, the traditional Christmas Classic, is at Sandown Park on 13 December.
