  How do I change the fuel filter on my Citroen Dispatch. It's a solid state type.

  Warning message has come up saying blocked fuel filter. I've changed the filter already, yet still receiving message. Any ideas on how to cure it?

  The engine turns over spark plugs are working, but the fuel pump is not I removed the relay on the ecu box and was able to get the fuel pump working that way by shorting 2 pins but after buying a new relay the pump still won't work. After pulling up the rear seat on the drivers side I noticed it has been leaking water as the foam is very damp under the seat at the fuel tank.

  My Jaguar X-Type 2.0 diesel stopped and I called the AA. They said it was starved of fuel with the tank half full. They also said there was no fuel coming...

  we have a 2.0 hdi x reg xara and it has developed a fuel pump fault. It starts then drives about 100 metres then stops. wait a few minutes and it will start then run about the same distance the stop. The garage said its the fuel pump and that it could need the whole fuel system changing.

  Good evening to you all. For the last 2 months or so, the orange 'water in fuel' warning light on my 1994 306 1.9TD has been flashing intermittently. Sometimes it stays on for several minutes, sometimes 2 or 3 seconds or it will go several days without it coming on at all. I've drained the fuel filter- to no avail and yesterday I changed the fuel filter- again to no avail.

  Afternoon all, I have a V40 2.0 turbo Auto, and am happy (as well as you can be) with the fuel consumption. I have come accross one of these magnetic fuel (pilot green) saving devices, and wondered if anyone on here has used one or has any opinions on them, i.e do they work?   AS some of you know i work out in Sudan, last week my Hilux p/u became sick No power & smoking chnaged fuel filter slightly better but not much I told my driver to take it to the toyota main dealer in Port Sudan 3 hours drive away I've just recived the bill/ Fuel tank removed & cleaned All fuel lines removed & cleaned 1 replaced 1 new fuel filter Fuel pump timing checked New air filter Total cost as far as i can work out about 50 quid!

  until a couple of days later (just before New Year's Eve) when the car wouldn't start at all ... also after filling up with fuel. Even my son bouncing up and down on the back seat above the fuel tank (which had worked before) could not coax the fuel pump into life. A local garage said they would look at it after the New Year break and after several hours of looking and removing the fuel tank to get at the pump (during which they did confirm that a new fuel pump had been fitted) they located a connecting plug near the fuel pump which was burned out and had a melted wire.

  Hi, I have recently bought a subaru forester diesel and upon reading the manual it states that no fuel additives are to be used at all. I just wondered if there is a reason for this as my previous car was a nissan xtrail and I used to add millers eco to the fuel, I did not add this for extra power it was for keeping fuel system clean which at mot time mechanic commented that  emmisions were extremely low and dpf light hardly ever came on whilst using this.

  Hello everyone I recently bought a 05 StreetKA. Love the car but the fuel consumption is terrifying! I only manage 240 miles on a full tank. I travel 60 miles a day of which 40 is motorway. I'm driving at 60 and trying REALLY hard to conserve fuel! Just part-exed a Fiat Grande Punto diesel for the StreetKA - mad I know- but didn't expect it to use as much fuel as this!!

  Hello there, Hopefully this will clear a lot of uncertainty up on the type of fuel to be used in this vehicle.  Upon searching the internet, a lot of online forums state you must use super unleaded in these. Reading the back of the handbook though states that fuel used in turbo cars must be at least 95 RON.
