  Hi all Can anyone shed any light on the fact that my Audi has a life of its own. When the ignition is off the starter still turns the engine over & will only stop when the battery is disconnected.   The automatic release facility no longer works, so I have to use manual release by depressing the foot brake, this is tricky when on a slope. I have been told by my independent Audi garage that the clutch cylinder will need to be replaced as the faulty switch is part of it. Is this correct?
