• 1994 BMW 525i - location of pollen filter 13 Apr 2010 (Forum)
  I am trying to locate the pollen filter for our 1994 BMW 525i. This is the 1st BMW we have owner and it is German spec. The air flow for both heat and A/C is really bad. I was told it is the pollen filter. Anyone know where to find it?

  My BMW's three year manufacturer's warrenty runs out in the next couple of months. I suspect that BMW's charge for a further 12 months warrenty will be expensive so I have been considering using Warrenty Direct(WD).

  My local BMW dealer has infomed me today, that the combined BMW & Mini sales totals for September equate to 36% of the U.K. market share for that month. This figure seems extremely high to me & I was wondering if any BR`s can confirm the verity of this statement??

  So looking at getting my first car and after a lot of research I think the BMW series 1 is for me. I’ve done so much research into this particular car, me mum was taking me sisters car in for a repair, the dealership has an onsite garage and she told the sales guy that her son (me) was looking for a car, mainly a BMW and all he said to her was tell him to steer clear of the BM’s those cars are always having trouble, though he didn’t really say what kind of trouble.

  Hello,   I purchased a 2nd hand BMW 3 series car.recently.  The day after my wife there noticed that  there was a chip in the windscreen.  On closer inspection I noticed it was repaired but quite unsightly.  Now I paid the  BMW dealership qute a hefty price for this vehicle so that  I could be assured of a getting a quality car.

  In the papers and on a previous topic it was said that BMW are to limit discounts on their range of cars. BMW make rules for their dealers- Type of Premises, Workshop setup etc I would have thought that fixing prices would be beyond the limits that BMW can insist on.

  Can anyone tell me how to get it to park vertically so I can simply replace the wiper blade ? I have found BMW instructions online on how to park the FRONT wipers vertically, but nothing that explains how to park the REAR wiper. The blade is completely inaccessible when parked normally.   Thanks

Im looking at buying either a BMW 3series Touring 1.8 2.0L Se petrol 2007 2008 2009 or Audi A4 Avant 1.8 2.0L TFSI petrol  2007 2008 2009 I dont want something thats gona break all the time and cost me a fortune for parts

  Hi, new to the forums just bought a bmw x6 and found a button which I can't find any reference to in the manuals any ideas what it does? It is a 2008 x35d and the button is in the drivers footwell area. Nothing evident happens except it lights up as an orange led but it must have a function?

  Anyone know of anyone good in kent (or reliable post away service?) for repair of the bmw boot fitted 6 disc cd player? I suspect it needs a laod/unload motor sensors and the ;laser and pinch rollers cleaning it is jamming and not  selecting the discs. Anyone know a fair price for this work?

  I don't think the X3 is part of the BMW condition based servicing system - am I right? But in any event are there any "service intervals for this or other BMWs or do you just run them - never lifting the bonnet "until the light comes on".
