  • Fuel level gauges 19 Dec 2000 (Forum)
, but I have never managed to fill more than 37L, even when the red warning light is on! Surely it is important to have a gage which accurately show the correct amount of fuel left in the tank for safety reasons? I would appreciate if anyone has had the same experience as me! 'Thanks
  • is there Lexus LS , very reliable alternative? 2 Jul 2022 (Forum)
the things which i like inside LS based on pictures and specs i have read 28 way adjustment of driver seat + massages , its quite important for me because i suffer from back pain.... my gs have only 18 way adjustment but my seat is broken so i cant use them......   Other things which are important for me is my Gs have 4 piston brake calipers in front not sure how many brake caliper pistons have LS , and i know ls have air suspention it should be way better compared to old leaky shocks from my GS...
  • 60 years of local car sales 20 Dec 2021 (Forum)
Peugeot dealer changed to Honda and moved to newer premises. Renault closed and they sold Japanese imports for a while. Lada closed but Seat took over the former Lancia showroom and then quickly closed. Nothing changed at Ford (building still slowly decaying). 2000 came and really going downhill.
  • Small/mid auto SUV - any recs? 10 Aug 2021 (Forum)
Very occasional mostorway trips, but not often (and for long ones she could take my car). Reliability and safety is important - we depend upon our cars most days, so definitely don't want something which'll break down often). I'm pretty scrupulous about getting our cars serviced properly. A comfortable ride is more important than sportiness.
  • The Advantages Of Targeted Email Lists - Email Marketing Best Practices 22 Oct 2016 (Forum)
Focused on Emails are Measureable As an entrepreneur you know exactly that it is so essential to have the capacity to track gauge and assess any sort of limited time crusade that you attempt. That is another motivation behind why conveying focused on battles to email records is so important, in addition to the fact that they are anything but difficult to do they are anything but difficult to quantify. Since you know precisely your identity reaching on your email database, the strategy that you've reached them and the offer that you've given them you can see exactly how successful that has been by following the quantity of reactions that you get back (even the negative ones can give important knowledge into your battles and the requirements of the people on your email records).

However, it has been set up "to highlight the importance of roads and sustained investment, to resolve our transport problems". Its first publication states that membership is "open to…organisations committed to building, equipping and maintaining roads".
  • Vauxhall Tigra - Question about nuts, bolts and torque 15 Jan 2025 (Forum)
My issue is I have no idea how to know which bolts I need when replacing them. I get the material is an important factor, how do I go about easily finding out which bolts I need for which parts on my car? Often parts don't come with the fastening material. Aside from googling, is there a good way to find torque specs of certain bolts on my car?
  • Yaris Hybrid/Mini/Jazz/Zoe/ID4! - Quality Small Hatchback - Which One? ?? 5 Jan 2024 (Forum)

  • All - HC giving way to pedestrians 15 Feb 2022 (Forum)
When I posted ""another use for your LH """ it got taken over by cycling rules. Another equally important new rule is the advice to give way to pedestrians crossing at junctions. If you are turning left and a pedestrian is on the kerb waiting to cross you should give priority to the pedestrian and stop to let them cross.
  • Toyota Auris and Verso - Dirty exhaust pipe = burning oil (?) 28 Jun 2020 (Forum)
In that case we will have the hassle of either looking at other Verso's for cleaner exhaust pipes, or buying a Honda import
  • Kia C'eed - A reliable long distance commuter car? 23 Mar 2019 (Forum)
Other options are: - Ford Mondeo which is the top end of our budget but has no warranty... this feels important given our last experience with a used car.   - Peugot 208 which although are cheaper, I'm reluctant because of previous experiences with the brand when they get over the 5 year age    Do you think the Kia C'eed is a worthy option?
  • Small Car - Big Person 27 Sep 2018 (Forum)
So looking for small/medium car (manual if possible)  In theory price is not important except that the point of this is to save a bit of money so the overall cost/mile is the most significant factor (within limits). Would buy new/cash, but consider pre-reg/broker. Most likely petrol (but would consider hybrid/electric if the maths worked out better, which looking at the prices probably wont).
  • Pick Up Insurance - commercial vehicle?? 10 Sep 2017 (Forum)
He was paying about £400 fully comp for the VW , he's rang around a few companies who state the same - "commercial vehicle sir" and are saying approx double that amount. The car was bought brand new from an import company but its value is less than the Alahambra. Its main use will be SD& P and to and from a permanent place of work. With of course weekend trips to muddy places. Anybody heard of this before?
  • Honda/Mercedes - Another which car thread. 30 Aug 2017 (Forum)
I prefer diesel as I do around 25k a year, and I need a boot size at least similar to my existing car. Reliability is of paramount importance but looks come into play obviously. I've test driven the newer civic and it's a nice car, but the 1.6d lacks the power I'm used to in my 2.2. It's not necessarily a deal breaker though as I know it's very economical.
  • 7 seater opinions 10 May 2016 (Forum)

  • Peugeot 205 Sceptre - Are all modern tyres like this? 4 Jan 2016 (Forum)
But this tyre and others I have always thought seem thin and soft compared to tyres of old. So who makes a tough tyre suitable for rough country roads, longevity is not too important but resonable/good grip is. Thanks for reading, Guzzian.
  • James May's Peoples Car - Vandalism 16 Dec 2014 (Forum)
This stopped being amusing on Top Gear a long, long time ago, certainly long before they did it with a Beetle. Doing it with cars that, by definition, have historical importance (otherwise they wouldn't be in the program) is indefensible. You are supposed to get that kind of thing out of your system by setting fire to your own, badly made Airfix models when you are, say, about 8.
  • Vauxhall Vectra C (2002 - 2008) - 1.8 VVT reliability question 7 Dec 2014 (Forum)
What I want is a car which is refined on the motorway and everything I have read about the vectra says it is up there with the best. This is more important than ultimate handling give what it will be used for. Views and experiences would be appreciated.
  • Driving in Europe with HID Xenon lamps!! 28 Jul 2014 (Forum)
I know that height adjustment is automatic, but I think that sales should make buyers aware of such an important issue when ordering with Xenons as normal light deflectors do not work. Has anyone here had these problems too, or in the case of driving abroad, found an easier way then removing the bumper on a VAG car to adjust them for driving on the right?
