• Renault Clio Exploding Airbag 21 Oct 2005 (Forum)
  It split the seat and pushed it back into the rear seat behind and cracked the seat belt buckle. Renault are being very obstinate despite the car being under warranty and will not do the work which has been estimated at approx. £1300. They maintain that my friend must have had an accident, which he did not.

  Renault Espace, 1992, 2000cc, petrol injection, 76K miles. Help! Engine will start fine when cold, if after 3 or so miles when warm I stop and turn off engine, come back to start it, it will start and stall unless I am quick with the throtle and keep it going.

  Hi There I hope someone can help, I have lost my keys to our Renault 19 Prima 1994 need to know what I can do get replacement keys. I have bought the car 2nd hadn and has had about 2-3 owners before me. I am at a total lost to what my options are, I have all the original books so might try contact the dealer but I am not sure if the key number is written in the manual (of course the manuals are sitting in my cubby hole in the car.

  Traded it in for a 1.8 VVTi Corolla Verso. Lost quite a bit of money, but I could no longer face the prospect of fighting Renault UK Customer (abuse) Services and threw in the towel. The most amazing thing about the whole experience has been the incredible attitude of Renault CS, they seem not to care at all. I guess Renault is riding high with its huge profits, but I hope their attitude and poor quality control will come back to haunt them.

  Particularly noticeable, and impressive, were the many Renault 4, 9 and 11s, some well over 20 years old, most battered and bruised but still up to the job (and with their current MoT equivalent certificates on the windscreen). Perhaps Renault made their cars simpler then and, QED, they were more reliable?

  I have a Renault 9 (auto, 1988,1397cc)that has been lying on my driveway for the past 2 years. It passed the MOT first time in September 2001. Have have spent some time preparing it for another MOT. Last week it only failed on exhaust emissions: \"HC high\".

  I have a 98 T Renault Laguna and I want to get a new stereo (CD player) for it, because the standard one is a bit naff, before I go shopping for one I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me. 1. The Laguna is fitted with a Radio contol thing, on the steering column, which means you never have to take your hands of the steering wheel to control it (I\'m sure you get the picture) and also the actual cd player doesn\'t have a display, it\'s on the top of the dash (like on vectra\'s).....Would stereos bought today be compatiable with these as I\'d like to keep these features. 2. reading through these forums, what does SWMBO mean????

  Just booked our 1.5 diesel clio in for a service, the car is on a 4 year service plan with Renault, during the phone call with the service department, I was offered a DPF cleaning service for a extra £20, at the time I said no, but thinking about it later, maybe I should have said yes, even though I can add this to the service.

  Hi Guys, I tried to find a solution via a search & did not succeed. So here we go! Mine is a Renault Scenic 80 Dinamique 1.5 cdi (2005 Reg). These days when I get in to the car in the evening, I find a lot of moisture (water, I would say) inside the windscreen. I use the hot air blower to get rid of this.

  Renault Megane 1.6e Sport (R reg) The car starts and runs normally until it warms up when the engine cuts out and would not start until it cools down. Clicking sounds can be heard from the fuel pump relay and the injectors.

• Renault Kangoo - Double pre-heat 1 Jul 2004 (Forum)
  It keeps ticking over, but will not increase revs, even in neutral. The vehicle is in for its fourth repair attempt by Renault (as it is still under warranty - 51 reg). So far the responses from Renault have been "can't find anything wrong with it", "We have tightened the fuel pump and checked for leaks", and, once again, "we can't find anything wrong with it".

  I bought a Renault Laguna Privilege 2.0 in January and have been having a battle with them since. The car does not perform as their brochure. Typically the car should be doing 34 mph in 5th gear at 1000 rpm according to their brochure.
