  Just followed a pop-up to the Volvo site and found that I can now order my tonne-and-three-quarters of V70 with the DRIVe package and the 1.6D engine from the C30. I'm intrigued - not so much because I'd rather have this engine than a D5 in a V70, but that Volvo seems to think it's a viable combination.

In the test, the Volvo XC90 collided with the side of the Volvo S40, thus having Volvo's largest car collide with its smallest car. According to Ingrid Skogsmo, head of the Volvo Safety Center, the crash test shows that the S40 has a robust and solid construction.

  I'm looking to buy a diesel car and have narrowed the search down to the Honda Accord I-CDti Sport or Volvo S60 D5 SE(Euro III engine, so no DPF).  I've found one of each, test driven them but still can't really decide! Both are 05 cars, the Honda(05 reg) is on 54000 miles and the Volvo (54 reg) is on 55000.

  I had new set of brake pads and discs fittted at quick-fit sinve when when I brake gently thewre is a judder, which doesn't happen when I brake hard. Went to Volvo main agent in Birmingham and they said although brake pads and discs were good because they were not Volvo parts is the reason for the judder.Is this likely to be the case?

  Volvo V40 1.8 HDI petrol (mitsubishi engine).71,000 miles.V plate Failed MOT on emissions, co too high (0.38%). Volvo tell me it needs a de-coke, plus hydraulic tappets, followers, & possibly injectors at a cost of £2,500 !!!

  My mum has broken the glass in the door mirror of her Volvo 760 in a narrow road. It's electric and heated so will be expensive to replace the whole unit on an old car. But I had a closer look today and the casing is intact, only the glass is cracked. Anyone know if just the glass can be replaced or does she have to get the whole unit replaced by Volvo?

  Hi guys! Would appreciate your opinions/thoughts.  Story in short: very happy owner of Volvo XC90 (really happy), diesel. Car was bought second hand from volvo dealer, full service history from volvo, 6 years old in Nov 2023, just 50k mileage.  Problem: high pressure diesel pump died while driving.
