We even wonder if the vendor hired in a snow machine especially when he took the pics, as with the white steel wheels it helps to deliver the full Monte Carlo rally look… At £750, it’s not bad money for a seemingly solid and rot-free Celica, even in a standard colour scheme. -

World Speed Record Ferrari for sale 20 Apr 2018 (News)
A Ferrari 550 Maranello ‘World Speed Record’ edition is heading to auction. The car, which is one of just ten right-hand drive models built, is part of the Silverstone Auctions’ Ferrari sale in May. In total, 33 of the special editions were built to commemorate the world speed records set by a modified 550 Maranello in Ohio in 1998. -

Two men jailed over classic Mini thefts 13 Apr 2016 (News)
Police said the pair were able to use their specialist knowledge to gain entry to the vehicles and ‘hotwire’ the immobilisers in order to drive them away. Detective Inspector Caroline Clooney, of the Met’s organised vehicle crime unit, said, ‘These men systematically targeted the owners of classic Minis across the south east. -

Russ Swift’s old Montego to go under the hammer 7 Jan 2016 (News)
Coming from a private collection, it has two leather Montego key fobs (still in their bags), a number of previous MOT certificates, owner’s handbook pack, and a Haynes manual. It comes with a number of rare (and hard to get hold of) MG Montego Driving Display team documents featuring Russ Swift himself. There is also a DVD of Russ Swift's life in motorsport and with the MG Montego team. Obviously, it’s a great opportunity for any Austin Rover collector and we’re still waiting to find out how much it’s expected to fetch at ACA’s sale on Saturday, 23 January. -
Ferrari 250 GT could make £8.5m at auction 3 Dec 2015 (News)
The car will go under the hammer at the Artcurial sale at Retromobile in Paris on 5 February, 2016. The matching numbers left-hand drive Ferrari is the last example built and was previously owned by Swiss collector Antoine Midy since 1989. Another star of the show will be a 1986 Ferrari Testarossa Spider – the only official Testarossa Spider to be commissioned and built by Ferrari. -

Motorist caught speeding at 149mph on M25 2 Jun 2014 (News)
A motorist was caught on speed camera travelling at 149mph on the M25 – the highest speed recorded by a speed camera between April 2013 and May 2014. The driver was caught in Kent and was banned from driving for six months and was fined £600. It isn’t the highest speed ever recorded, however – that record goes to driver Ben Westwood, who reached speeds of up to 180mph while trying to outrun the police in a stolen, modified Audi RS5. -
BCA to Offer Porsche Carrera GT at Auction on 26th May 15 May 2014 (News)

This 2005 left-hand drive Porsche Carrera GT 5.7 V10 is finished in Basalt Black has covered less than 7,000 miles from new. Zipcar adds Ampera to fleet 21 May 2012 (News)
The Ampera is an electric vehicle with a 50 mile range, but after that a petrol powered-generator takes over and produces power to drive the car a further 310 miles. London users might never need that fuel, though. Zipcar has partnered with Boroughs across London to increase the number of charging points, so users can top up the battery without needing the petrol engine. -
