• Nissan Qashqai - Qashqai, loss of power, alarm going off etc 29 Mar 2020 (Forum)
  Loss of power on and off with no pattern to it (revs don’t drop and feels like intelligent braking cutting in) alarm gone off 9 times in a week. Start/stop only works properly for a while both times it has left Nissan garage - for a few days then works only roughly once a week. Has been into Nissan twice, all they have done is plug it in and drive it 10 miles...nothing else. It is registering no error codes at all - not past or present.

  Hi everyone I have a Nissan S Cargo that won't start, it has spark and has compression so that leaves fuel. It was running when I drove it into my unit which was a couple of months ago, when I say it was running, it was stuttering when it got hot (say after an hour of driving) but once I left it for 30 minutes it would drive fine again.

  I have just had a very dissapointing but interesting telephone conversation with Citizens Advice regarding an issue that I have been experiencing with Nissan and a number of their their dealerships. I have concrete evidence that false claims are being made in relationship to a vehicle that was previously replaced by Nissan, due to a major manufacturing fault, and I have since found that the vehicle is now for sale with claims that it was an ex demo and various other claims that I can prove to be entirely false.

  According to reliability index, the Toyota Corolla (97-04) has a rate of failure of 2.38% while the Nissan Almera Tino (00-05) has a failure rate of 13.27 %. These figures would be across the petrol and diesel models. Would anyone have any further thoughts on this

  Hi I have had my car check by two garagers one was my local garage and one was Nissan dealer. My car a few days ago is laking in power almost like I am towing something. It pulls ok from 0.30 ish ok but affter that when you start to notices the power loss,on a long stright road I can get the car to up around 65-75 but thats it then the car keeps changing gear as its strugling to accelerate.
