Auction Prices 'Over Book' 17 Jan 2001 (News)
Auction prices for late plate ex-fleet cars were very high at BCA Blackbushe today, sometimes even exceeding book retail or more for some models. As before, the most wanted cars are German. £10,200 was paid for a 57,000 mile 97R BMW 318iS Coupe in silver with the unusual combination of sunroof and air-conditioning (mileage-adjusted trade book £9,700). A 22,000 mile 97R Audi A3 1.8SE made £10,700. And a desirable 29,000 mile 99V Mercedes C220 CDI Esprit manual which started at £12,000 went all the way to sell at a bang-on-book £16,300. -
