Low mileage Xantia - am I sane to reject 6 Nov 2004 (Forum)
no odd noises, powerful and straight line braking. It rode and cornered smoothly. At £2,699 from a garage with a year?s MOT I was impressed but decided not to buy it. It was nearly perfect BUT the clutch worried me , the 4 Michelin tyres looked original and had about 4mm of tread left ? but at 6 years old were past their sellby date and would have to be replaced. -

Jaguar XF - P052F Glow Plug Module Fault Code (No symptoms) 28 Dec 2022 (Forum)
I've just had a new battery fitted to my 2015 X250 XF 3.0 S and before and after fitting the battery, the mechanic plugged in an Autel scanner and the only fault code that came up was PO52F, a permanent fault with the Glow Plug Module System. He tested all the glow plugs and all were fine so he thinks that fitting a new Glow Plug Module will cure this fault. -

Ford Torneo Connect - Faulty EGR valve or Injector? 27 May 2021 (Forum)
I told them the EGV valve was changed and then checked 3 weeks ago. So they say, send it back to the garage (as it´s still under guarentee for the parts) or change the injector and see what happens. An injector is an expensive job to do. I definately trust this garage more than the last one. The last one claimed they had checked it and it was working... -
Jaguar XF - Reliability & Smoothness of 4cyl petrol '18 Jag XF 26 Apr 2021 (Forum)
However, I'm aware the car is getting on now, so I'm considering it changing it, either for a 2014 / 2015 last of the old shape XF 3.0D 240bhp / 275bhp S or a 2018 new shape XF 2.0 Petrol 25t 250 bhp. I have no doubt that the 2014 / 2015 will be far superior to my old 2.7D but I'd be very interested to hear from anyone with experience of the petrol new shape XF. -
