  My mate has a Vauxhall Vectra 2.2DTI LS 5dr Automatic that he has been running privately as his company transport. It is on an '03 plate (March 03) and has a full Vauxhall service history. It is in average condition (few stone chips, tiny dents, etc, but other than that very good with everything working on it) and it has 81,700 miles on the clock.

  Does anyone know whether the Peugeot 2008 is about to be made available with the new EAT6 automatic gearbox?  HJ is saying it is available on the 18 May 2015 update to the 2008 car review, but I can't find any reference to it on the Peugeot website for the 2008, nor anywhere else.

  Just taken delivery of my new RWD Transit. Fascinated to learn how the handbrake is applied automatically when the vehicle is on an incline. Is it applied to the propshaft or are there electric motors on the rear disk brake calipers?

  Is it ok for the cooling fan to cut in when slowing down (say at the round about), after a high speed drive in the motorway (in these cooler months)? After a few minutes of stopping it cuts out automatically.

  I have just purchased a 2007 C5 with the 2.0 litre petrol engine and 4speed automatic (AL4) gearbox. Has anyone any experience of these engines and if so are they reliable and are there any issues that i should be aware of please? cheers Trev
