  Hey everyone - first time poster here, please be nice! haha. I'm the current owner of an Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Sport. It's a great car, and looks amazing. It's just a little small though, and I'm looking at replacing it sometime with something a bit bigger. Originally I was looking at an Audi A3, as Audi's service has generally been awesome over the last few years.

  Just a bit of advice really regarding legal rights on rejecting a car... I purchased a 59 plate audi a4 with 75k on clock Drove home 180 miles and had warning lights flash within a day, advised the garage, within one week had to fill 3lts oil! Not normal. Garage firstly advised to refer to independent audi, they found spark plug no3 sat in oil a sign I'm told that piston rings need replacing cost of 1500!

  My 1998 audi a3 1.8t is off the road due to a missfire and violent shaking it sounds like a subaru and performs poorly,it has a str8 thru custom exhaust,i dnt know if this plays any part in the cause of the fault, basicly i noticed for a while the car felt like it was pullin bk for a slight second every now n then,then i was driving up a steep hill and all of a sudden it started to missfire so i headed home,i hav had a mAte briefly look at it and plug it in it came up with no fault codes, he switched all plugs over and came to the conclusion 1 isnt working he said he needs to do further tests on it as he suspects possibly a valve blown?

  I have an Audi 80 TDi estate on about 250K in good all round condition, 650 miles on a full tank. The following symptoms apply; 1. Engine over revs when changing up a gear, followed by a drop in revs for a moment in the new gear.

  The performance is quite frankly astounding for the price - as you recommended we only run it on V-power and it seems to be getting faster and faster as the engine loosens - the current A3 is due to be replaced next year and they now do a 40k RS version - my audi dealer(who has driven one ) tells me it's not as good as the S3 as it's only marginally quicker and the ride is awful - also it's auto only. It looks great in white with the standard titanium alloys - the boys in my daughter's class voted it the coolest car at the school(M5's, GTRs Range Rovers and others costing twice as much notwithstanding).

  good morning everyone  I'm new on here but really looking for some advice.  I have an Audi TT which my ex partner purchased on finance and I would like to find out how much is left on the finance and to take over the payments however we are not in contact. I've done an Auto Trader check and it states the finance will be completed 31 October 25 but my worry is if he stops paying the finance the car will be taken back.

      My current car (Vauxhall VX220) has recently been unfortunately wrote off and I have narrowed my car shortlist down to either a Mini JCW hatch or Audi TT S Line 2.0 petrol both around a 16 plate.  Could I get anyone's thoughts on which is the better car? No mention of Seat? But what a disappointment, another major fault on top of Dieselgate, DSG gearbox faults, timing chain faults, and ABS module faults to name a few.

Would like to get an A2 but would like to get your views on the best model. Will probably end up with. 1.4 Tdi but don't like the idea of a thee cylinder engine which feels lumpy after my PD Tdi.

  I have been looking at a car on autotrader.co.uk that is being sold by a dealer in Peterborough. It is a 2012 s line Audi A4. It looks like a lovely car but I had a look at the MOT history on carcheck.co.uk and found that it has basically barely been driven at all between its last 2 MOTs (almost 94k miles in June 2016 and only 20 miles less in July 2015).

  My Audi 80 usually starts first time but recently has been letting me down by not starting. If left for about 30 minutes it starts again normally. It has been happening over the past year, frequently letting my wife down whilst out in it.

  Hi,   So, im planning to buy a volkswsgen or audi 1.9 TDi 2000-2004. I found that 90 hp and 110 hp motor are regular TDi, however other motors with 101, 115, 130, 150 hp is PD TDI. A lot of people say that the 90 hp (110 also) TDi is the most simple and best motor and PD can have problems.

  Hi Just had first service on Audi A3 sportsback  1.4 SE TSFI (cod). Since collecting my car, it seems to run away with itself. It runs around 2000 rpm. I was in traffic today and was coasting in first gear, with no foot on clutch or accelerator and it was doing 5 mph with me just steering, it increased to 9 mph in 2nd gear and 12 mph in 3rd gear.

  There must be power available near the interior mirror for the interior lights and the auto mirror and perhaps this could be tapped into. The local Audi dealer can offer no assistance and I would be interested to hear if anyone has overcome these problems.

  Hi My 2004 Audi A6 (C6) 3.0 TDi Quattro has started to on occasion blow very hot air through the drivers side dash vent and the centre rear vent.  The air is so hot that the metal around the vents becomes too hot to touch.

  Hello All, Due to a change in jobs my commute is a short 12 mile round trip each day. My car is an Audi A3 2.0 Tdi 170PS and I am worried that I'm killing it. Winter mornings and evenings mean a heavy load on the battery etc. but I'm more concerned about the long term damage this is causing. I try to take the car on a longer run at the weekends or indeed a little bit of Italian tune up by revving the car quite highly once towards the end of the commute.

  Tried to open the rear door on my Audi this morning. It eventually opened but refused to latch when closed. The door lock lever dosn't seem to offer any resistance like the opposite side. The lever mechanism inside the lock does not click in the locked position so there is no grab on male peg on the door frame.
