  Decided to do as usual, car now 2.5 years old, replace wipers before the winter.. Not only did my local kia dealer quote me £54  and sone pennies for 2 front windscreen wippers, but offered to fit the, and i asked how much the fitting charge, then fainted.

    Near the turnoff for the A120 I'm in a line of traffic indicating left.  I've left a sensible gap between me and the car in front.  Some "large male chicken" driving a Black CRV decides to pull out hurtle past then cut in right in front of me.  Obviously being three seconds closer to his destination was life critical.

  Picked up a new Mazda 6 2.5 Sport 2 weeks ago. Love the car but I have a couple of gripes that I was wondering if anybody else had encountered. First frosty morning this week, I defrosted the rear window and the separate top section of the heated rear window doesn't work.

    Heated rear windscreen has just stopped working on a 2004 Rover 25. When it stopped, the light on the switch also stopped working and the fusible link in the fuse box under the bonnet had blown. First time I replaced the fusible link it blew again, however, after removing the relay and inserting it again, a new fusible link has not blown and the light in the switch has come on again.

  Hi all, This morning I received two windscreen chips. Both are very small (no more than 2-3mm across) and are about 30mm from each other. Unfortunately, they are straight in front of my nose as I drive. They seem very 'tight'; a single mark with no sign (yet) of cracks.

  the front quickclear windscreen has a band about 3" wide top to bottom in the middle that doesn't clear of frost, even after being on for over 5 minutes and the rest has cleared. ford dealer have said this is normal for the model, anyone else have this problem, is it normal???

  Are there any must have add ons? I couldn’t see a heated front windscreen option. The only downsides I can see are the stereo upgrade is Beats, which I loathe (overhyped, excessive bass, poor quality sound) and the paint, mainly white, black and silver, with some so so colours.

  Mondeo Estate 2008 model. Both front footwells are suffering water ingress. Very wet carpets, and I think it is coming from the door post area. I have seen previous advice about blocked pollen filter, but they have moved it from the area in fron of the windscreen in 2008.

An experienced Toyota mechanic, who did a 60,000 miles service yesterday,   20 January, confirmed that there is no water inside the car, including the boot, and that the air-conditioning filter is clear and dry.

  The cooling fan on my wife's 1.6 Focus (1.6 Zetec, 2001 Auto) starts up within about 5 seconds of switching the engine on - I have noticed this even on the coldest days.
