This has been on motorways, A road, country backroads and some town driving. However, since the two discs were changed they have both been running constantly hot - over a distance of 12 miles and moderate braking you can burn the skin off your fingers, and hear the tink, tink, tink of cooling brake discs after the car has stopped. The discs heat up even if I don't use the brakes, or use them very gently. -

The Maf sensor can be disconnected and the ECU ignores it and goes to its default. So tried it and the engine still runs, when I get it to cut out ..doesnt matter whether it is still connected or not as will not start, so not going to default. The temp sensor (there is possibly 2) ..2 pin and 4 pin, both can be disconnected and the car still runs, again like the MAF once i got it to cut out it doesnt restart whether it is still connected or not. -
