  Has climate control! Inside windscreen was frozen so put heating on, suddenly after 5 main it all stopped,no heater running and the dashboard lights on heater controls all off, noticed when I turned of headlights the heater display lights tried to to come on but only faint!

    Some storage, whether under the boot floor or otherwise would be good I also really want a heated front windscreen in this next car, as I'm fed up of waiting 5-10 minutes for the inside to defrost!  Air con would be great, though not as important. Lastly, I'd like something that is reasonably low emission - with the low tax band to match!

  hi, not surehow common this problem is but the water jets on the front windscreen have stopped working, normally you hear the motor working but this time nothing happens, even when the front water tank is empty the motor still works but now nothing happens i hope this makes sense as its starting to become a problem with driving as the windscreen is getting dirty very quickly and i have to keep either stopping or putting my hand out the window and spraying the windscreen with water fom a bottle any tips would be great as the manual for the car i cant find anything the car is reg j 1992 if that helps regards Peter F

  A car going faster comes up behind, but his headlights don't dazzle me thanks to my auto-dimming rear view mirror. There's some road dirt on the windscreen, no problem, my heated washer jets make sure I can clean the screen effectively.

  When the car is particularly cold at start up (less than 5C outside) as soon as i put the heated windscreen on there's a really loud screeching for about 30 seconds then it tapers off. It's only 2 years old and still in warranty so it was checked out last year but at the time I thought it was the heater and they couldn't find anything wrong.

  Hiya, on Friday I noticed a crack in my windscreen so called my insurance company's 24hr windscreen hotline, which is in fact the switchboard for a well known windscreen replacement company. I mentioned to the operator that I had a heating element at the bottom of the windscreen that defrosts the wipers to stop them getting stuck to the glass and she said that this feature was already noted on their database for my model of car.

  Can anyone help me out ? I've got a renault laguna 2.0 rt on a 95 plate, The problem i have is with the heated rear windscreen. when i turn the demister on nothing happens. I've put a circuit tester on the heater and theres 12.3 volts running through it so theres plenty of power there. There isn't a drop in power when i turn it on either. this seems to be a common problem as a few friends and family memvers who own lagunas also seem to have the same problem. short of replacing the windscreen any ideas ?
