Rage Concern: Wrong Answer 14 Jul 2001 (News)
There is actually no evidence at all that hands-free mobile phones have caused a single accident, yet organisations like ROSPA are campaigning to ban them. This is like banning business and banning commerce. No mention of banning cigarette smoking in cars, which is far more dangerous than any mobile phone ever was, but doesn't come with the evidence of an itemised bill which shows call times. -
'Speed Kills' a Dismal Failure 15 Jun 2001 (News)
Its manifesto includes: "Reclaiming the roads for the people who pay for them" "Demanding proper roads (and railways) in exchange for paying one seventh of all taxes" "Debunking the nonsense you hear about the environmental impact of the car" "Promoting effective road safety instead of the criminalisation of safe driving" -
Iconic 1925 3-litre Bentley in Historics 23rd November Auction 8 Nov 2019 (News)

It starred as Douglas Bader’s car in the movie ‘Reach for the Sky’, and remained in storage until the garage was sold in 2007. The family then decided to restore it and “got a bit carried away” spending in excess of £150,000 over 4 years with Elmdown Engineering of Hungerdford. -

Given the latter was introduced into the UK 2013. Its youthful range of cars, they would only be going through their first or second MoT, explains the high pass rate. -
A Grand Monday: Nissan Micra K11 Twister 15 Oct 2018 (News)
If you want to know what makes a truly good car, then there are three types of people you should ask - taxi drivers, banger racers and takeaway delivery drivers. The Nissan Micra K11 (1993-2003) is a big hit with two out of the three - it's no use as a minicab thanks to its dimensions, but as a rookie banger or a surefire way of getting your kebab delivered to its final destination, it's an object of great desire. -
