    A Land Rover 110 V8 Country Station Wagon could make £21,000 when it heads to auction over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The car – which some enthusiasts view as the ‘ultimate’ Land Rover Defender – will be offered for sale by Classic Car Auctions at CarFest South on 29 August. Launched in 1983, this 12-seater came with the same 3.5-litre engine and gearbox fitted to the Range Rover.

They added the Polo’s passengers, a 31-year-old man and a baby died while a woman is in intensive care in hospital.

  • Powershift Grants Extended to Older Vehicles 11 Oct 2001 (News)
    Grants for the conversion costs of new cars and light vans will be revised from 1st April 2002 and will range from 30% to 40% of the conversion cost, depending on the level of emissions improvement.   • Rally-bred Manta 400 for auction 24 Nov 2017 (News)
    An evaluation by the Manta Owners’ Club scored the car's condition as concours A1 in all areas, and it has been given a pre-sale estimate of £40,000 to £50,000. Richard Greenhalgh, Classic Car Auctions classic car specialist, said, ‘We believe that only 12 examples were produced in Astro Silver making this one even more desirable - especially with an indicated mileage of just 28,000 miles.’ The car is accompanied by a history file containing the original import documentation dating from 1984, receipts and photos of the car throughout its restoration, and an old MoT dating back to 1990, which shows the mileage at 18,414 miles.
