  Hi, My car is a 2002 Citroen Xsara. A few weeks ago one of the bulbs in the backlight for the radio/clock display blew. I lifted the display unit out of the dash and changed the bulb. When I put the unit back in, none of the bulbs were working.

  1995 Citroen Xantia 1.9TD SX.  I don't think it is hydroactive but perhaps someone would know? I have read the threads but no one seems to have experianced my problem.  I know about hard suspension but mine does the usual thing when depressing the wings, goes down about 3 inches and returns with only one small overbounce but, on the road, is very bouncy but a soft bounce or perhaps call it a wallow.

  One model comes with a set of 16" ones so that's what I'm after. Can anyone recommend where I can get value for money - Citroen have quoted me £1,300 for a new set of wheels and tyres, and I'm sure I can do better than that, both for wheels and tyres. I don't need alloys or fancy ones.

    I am using a glow plug style vegetable oil pre heater unit on a Citroen xantia with a bosch pump. My fuel mix is 80% new vegetable oil and 20% diesel. It was fine at first but now it stalls in the morning even as the engine gets hot. I then need to prime the engine/pump with the hand primer to get it started again.

  I have been trying to sell or swap for a few months because of the high fuel costs. I now have the chance to swap with a 2002 Citroen Picasso 1.6l petrol, its also in v good condition.   Is it OK to use VW Longlife III (5W30) oil in my Citroen 1.6HDI? I have a few litres left from my old car, and I'm too much of a skinflint to buy any more unless I need to ;-) . The specs look similar, but my handbook is in German so I can't tell if I'm missing any small print!

  citroen xsara 2.0HDI 90bhp '99. Over the last 1000 miles or so, a knocking or pulsating sensation is felt (and heard) through the clutch pedal. This only happens when the pedal is depressed AND THE CAR IS MOVING!
