Citroen C5 - Geeting Decent Value Buying Wheels - Ed V

I want to swap my current 18" wheels for smaller better riding ones for my 2.7 V6 C5. One model comes with a set of 16" ones so that's what I'm after. Can anyone recommend where I can get value for money - Citroen have quoted me £1,300 for a new set of wheels and tyres, and I'm sure I can do better than that, both for wheels and tyres. I don't need alloys or fancy ones.

C5 is generaly a very comfortable car, but I guess after some time & getting used to it all, you just would like even more of that Comfort, hence the decision ? I’m afraid that when it comes to V6 versions, there’s just no way 16” wheel will fit in because of brake calipers being too big or something like that. You may try 17”, though
