  So, to cover the other stuff... I've checked the timing, I've made sure fuel is getting to the pump, I've run a wire from the starter solenoid to the battery and the engine turns over but does not start, I've opened the fuel injector pipes to let air out of the system, so far nothing. I even looked for the fuel cut-off switch mentioned on petrol cars but there isn't one.
