parking fine advice please 5 Aug 2012 (Forum)
i'm posting this for some help for my father parking fine. any advice would be much appreciated. He parked his vehicle in a car park where you get the 1st hour free but you do have to still obtain a ticket from the machine & display it on your dashboard. my father failed to do this as he was only popping to Wickes to grab some DIY stuff. -

Anyone have any thoughts on UKPC parking fines? My vehicle received an PCN from UKPC for parking incorrectly within the markings of the bay. The ticket issued has an illegible Reg’ nbr and the make of vehicle is incorrect. -

I could even handle it if it was because you faced charges such as driving with no insurance... but Parking Tickets ? How many of our London posters on here haven't felt the need to challenge what they think could be a wrongly issued ticket and yet for that, could be denied a business flight because it stands as an unpaid parking fine. -

How do Backroomers feel about this new Government proposal that fines will be based on "ability to pay". I read that if, say, you are reasonably off you will receive a higher fine for your speeding/parking offence than someone who is "poorer". Does it work the other way round. -
