  • Kia Xceed PHEV - First Impressions 22 Oct 2023 (Forum)
There are only three of us and we ended up with one of our (admittedly enormous) suitcases on a seat. The transition between petrol and electric is pretty good.  Not quite as good as a Renault Captur, but better that the Seat Leon.  The petrol engine, though, is incredibly coar_se sounding.  Almost like a diesel. Averaging about 50mpg, mixed town (no traffic) and motorway.

  • rover streetwise 2.0 TD - lack of performance 18 Jan 2018 (Forum)
Anyway the car has no power to it, it will cruise quite happily at 70mpg when it gets there. It is slow to accelerate and loses power on steep hills. A turbo diesel i had in the past a Renault megane, used to go like stink compared with this car.   No noises or anything nasty sounding, however just not enough go, are these engines just like this or does something need tweaking.
