  • New car advice - downsizing 6 Feb 2023 (Forum)
Doing a lot less miles these days, no need for the bi-annual run down to the South of France, and public transport where we live is both cheap and good quality. Needs to be a bit pokey - recognising that this is somewhat open to interpretation, but for arguments sake, let's say sub 9 secs on the 0-60 dash.

    - hatchback or estate. - Not too low. Clio is ok, Accord does not quite agree with my knees - Automatic. - comfort rather than sport. Rented a Corolla (or was it Auris?) which was too firm for my taste, otherwise fine. We are in Portugal, so prices are different but models much the same.
