• Peugeot 5008 - Update of model/ 2 Sep 2013 (Forum)
  I am in the market for a new car and comparing the Citroen C4 Picasso diesels (recently released) and the Peugeot 5008. I am surprised by the differences in VED cost - it seems the C4 Picasso has changed engines and got down to Band B in some examples yet the 5008 diesels are much higher. This suggests the 5008 may be revised soon - has anyone any 'inside information' please?

  Hi, I have a peugeot 407 2.2 auto with a PETROL engine A message keeps coming up saying depolution system faulty, the car runs as normal, not missing out no loss of power, the message stays on for a few days then dissapears for two three weeks or longer, then will come back on again for a few days or a week or so.

    he direction indicators suddenly stopped working on my Peugeot 306 estate 2000 HDI. I noticed the15 amp fuse had blown. Replaced it and it blew again. All hazard lights work so it is not the bulbs shorting. What could be causing this problem .  Can anyone help.Many thanks   Home  »

  I have a problem with my peugeot where it just wont start it fires fine but engine wont start at all been told fuel pump needs replacing also soliniod on the pump might have gone any one gt any other ideas i could try ?? its had new glow plugs

  I am getting oil sludge in the water header tank on my Peugeot 106 Diesel, I am not getting water in the oil. I assumed this would be a blown head gasket but there is no loss of power and there is no white condensation in exhaust. Is there any other way oil can get in the water apart from a blown head gasket, I do not have an oil cooler.

  i recently bought my peugeot 206 cc quite happy with it and all its features but am scared something is wrong with my breaks as it does not respond when depressed until fully depressed. it is managable but i dont know what is wrong any suggestions people..i have not checked the fluid level though do you think it might be the problem?

  Need help please! I have a Peugeot 406 coupe 1999 2 litre and the diagnostic light comes on intermittently, the speedo and rev counter then go mad up and down and eventually go to zero, also the radio goes off and indicators do not work.

  I have not before taken much notice of the tyre details as fitted on my 308 SE HDi 6-speed manual diesel 1997cc, and as supplied by my Peugeot main dealer. The ones fitted are 215/55 R16 93V on 17" wheels.  Is this OK ? - as a tyre novice it seems a bit odd to me, and does not tally with what tyre-shopper.co.uk suggests.

  Hi I have a peugeot 306 td lx which has no front fog lights. It appears as though there are plugs for fog lights to be fitted. If I got lights and a new headlight stalk that has the fog switch would they run on the existing loom or am I going to have to run my own wires and switches etc.

  Hi I have just bought a 2001 Peugeot 206 1.4LX and driven it for the 2nd time this morning, i was driving quite normally when a red STOP sign came on the dash!!!  Im panic striken, could this be somethign trivial like oil or water levels or is it something serious?

  I have a 2002 2.2 hdi peugeot  which is going into safe mode and cutting the power .IT is putting on the engine management light and flashing an esp asr warning got the codes read and they are P1442 and P1435 .I have been told the first is  additive quantity and the second is additive system  .Can you tell me how to refill as my garage can reset the computer for me

  Hi silly question for some but i am going to do my own service on our 2007 peugeot partner 1.6 hdi, just wanted to know the location of the fuel filter as the one i bought is quite big but i cannot see it on the car anywhere?. Also do you need a special spanner for the sump nut on these or is it just a straight forward socket, thanks in advance..

  Hi I have a peugeot 406 2 litre HDI Deisel estate on a 51 plate and when we tow our caravan it overheats and we end up with the heating on full and windows down, I have towed this caravan before with a vectra and had no problems can you  suggest what i can do to stop the overheating Thank you Shell

  Hi, hoping someone can help as an archive search here and on Google have drawn a blank. I've got a 2003 (03 plate) Peugeot Expert 900 HDI van (the 1997cc turbo diesel) and I can't find any information on what the engine oil capacity is for a change with filter.   Anyone know, and also what type/grade of oil this engine needs?

  brother in law had new clutch fitted recently, works fine but speedo has ceased to function - the garage concerned will apparently 'consult a Peugeot dealer' to find out why, but frankly it needs fixing - is there a simple diagnostic / part from scrapyard?  Does a cable just screw into the gearbox that was not reconnected and could we do it ourselves?

  Hi all. I'm thinking about lowering my peugeot 405 (1993 SRDT) by about 30mm. I've read that I should be ok keeping the existing shocks and just fitting the new springs... is this correct? Also, how easy is it to change the springs front and back?

  The alarm won't stop unless I disconnect the battery. Sometimes the siren sounds, sometimes not. Usually the headlights flash. It's an L-reg 1994 Peugeot 306 XRDT. How can I permanently disable the alarm? Thanks,

  02 front suspension rattle. repl'd anti roll bar links and rear suspension arm bushes at 23k miles which cured rattles. Had to repl. anti roll bar links and 1 rear susp. arm bushe again at 40k. genuine peugeots used. normal town driving by lady driver. anyone any ideas. is this just a design fault.
