Peugeot 607 - fault codes

Peugeot 607 - fault codes - bmac 101

I have a 2002 2.2 hdi peugeot which is going into safe mode and cutting the power .IT is putting on the engine management light and flashing an esp asr warning got the codes read and they are P1442 and P1435 .I have been told the first is additive quantity and the second is additive system .Can you tell me how to refill as my garage can reset the computer for me

BMAC, j've found a detailled topic about the additive refill of your 607. If you don't understand french , they say that there are two types of additive depending on the model , and not compatible.(old one DPX 42 and more recent one EOLYS A76 for french models. don't know if the references are the same in Britain)
Could be that you will have to change the particule filter although some guys have succesfully cleaned it with presurised water (but obviously not recommended by Peugeot ! ) The additive (cerine) tank is under the car at the rear left side beside the main tank (on LHD cars but probably also on RHD). The product is dangerous for the skin and even more for the eyes so protection is compulsory.

But cannot your garage do it for you ? be sure that the garage would reset the computer when they have not change the additive themselves.
