  Sometimes if left for several hours it will start without fault and run/start fine until the next time it happens?. Ive read about fuel pump relays going so tried another relay, no joy so guess its not the relay. Previous owner recently had a new cam sensor hoping to solve the problem. No joy.   Hi Everyone New to this Forum.  I was wondering if anyone had had any problems with diesel fuel from a Morrisons filing station?   My car was nearly empty and running fine.  I filled to the brim £76.23 on 8th March, I have the receipt stating 'Diesel'.  2 days later my car started to misfire badly, I couldn't get it to a garage within 2 days and I was going away for a week after that, so 2 weeks elapsed between me filling and the garage telling me I had petrol in my fuel tank and a lot of damage had been done.

  There appears to be no fuel reaching the pump, but it seems unlikely to be a pump issue in light of the money recently spent.  I read on-line of a bod with similar symptoms, who said it was a dry joint in the ecu, and advised me to pop it open and check for some burning inside.

  Ok checked the timing, it's perfect, thought ill put my op com onto it, only fault code coming up is b3059 immobliser fault no engine request, any ideas? So far I've been going crazy haha.all fuel pressure, injectors working fine, u can see all the engine wanting to work but no fire, also changed ecu set, coded injectors, changed engine fuel wiring harness, crank/cam, mass air flow, I'm guessing wiring fault inside the car somwhere, anyone point me in a good direction?

  hi all ive got a misfire problem with my vectra firstly the problem occurs in third gear while under load (3500 rpm ) onwards at which point i get the car and spanner symbol on the dash i have had the car plugged and read by a friend but alas thereare no fault codes stored just a record of the misfire in cylinders 3 and 4 i also et the engine symbol occasionally if i continue to keep the engine under pressure to try to cure this problem i have replaced the crank sensor the hp fuel pump and the coil pack and plugs but still no resolution  i have considered replacing the fuel rail and the injectors but thats another expensive special order part with no guarentee of fixing the fault any help please

  Hi all I have 2000 model Xantia 2.0hdi 90bhp with AirCon, when I put the boot down to go up through the gears the engine gives a wavy sound to it as if she is not firing on all cylinders or not getting diesel.  pulled out the fuel pressure regulator at the weekend and blew it out with a air hose, all was clean there. plugged the computer in and one  injector was injecting too much fuel, got that one changed and still happening.

Links View Garages of Wallasey, Wirral left me with two pints of fuel max so I almost ran out of fuel( they use jerrycans!) Who would have paid for that if the catalytic convertor had been ruined?? They  made mistakes on the MOT and the road tax. They only supplied one key although they said their cars all came with two.
