Cars with DSG boxes - Do they break cambelts sooner? 22 May 2019 (Forum)
Is this why some manufacturers reduced the advisory change intervals? These boxes must unduly strain chains as well, no? I always thought automatic gearboxes protected the engine from harsh and unsympathetic drivers but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps this effect is offset by the many gears such boxes now have, so that the r.p.m. change between the gears is less? -

Citroen C3 - Trouble starting and resetting date/time 1 Nov 2018 (Forum)
It's almost as if it momentarily disconnects from the battery, and it then starts, but my time and date have reset and my windscreen wipers go up and down just for one cycle and then it automatically locks the doors. It's under warranty for 3 months so want to take it back to them and explain the problem, but don't want to be fobbed off due to not knowing about cars, and was hoping someone would know what the problem is likely to be before I take it back. -
Mazda CX-5 - Mazda CX5 Spare Wheel 14 Apr 2018 (Forum)
Hi, I've just bought a new CX-5 2.2 SE-L Nav Diesel Automatic, with delivery due mid September. However I have just found out (my fault, I should have looked into every detail!) that no spare wheel is provided! Now i've never had a puncture in 10 years of driving, however I still don't want to take a risk and do want to get a spare. -
Nissan Qashqai - Which cars have Active DPF regeneration? 20 Mar 2018 (Forum)
Hi all, I currently have a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dci and looking to get another diesel in the next few months. Preferably diesel and automatic. I like the fact that my current Qashqai has active DPF so it allows me to do short journeys as well as long ones. I like the Nissan Xtrail as it would suit my needs with a growing family and being over 6ft. -
Peugeot 107 2005-2014 - Switching off ABS in snow 14 Feb 2018 (Forum)
Is it possible to switch it off? If it is possible, I have in mind a simple switch/relay setup that will automatically switch ABS back on next time the car is started. I occasionally drive on completely snow covered roads just for the fun of it, but with ABS it isn't as much fun because I have somewhat less control. -

Lamborghini thread deleted 12 May 2016 (Forum)
Just to apologise to all of you who rightly criticised an OP who failed to read the sticky thread and named and shamed a dealer. You'll all have got an automatic E-mail - sorry for that. I simply don't have the time to go through all the posts and delete the dealer's name. To the OP - a public forum like this is NOT the place to name and shame a particular business.
