No Heated seats - Ford Galaxy and Scorpio both both those in 1998/1999 6. No electric memory seats (Ford Scorpio, Peugeot 406). Now, heres the thing, I haven;t looked in detail at any Audi, BMW, or Merc before, but the dealer says that these premium German brands are usually badly equipped, however this is not the lead in 1.6 I am looking at, but the flagship 3.2 Quattro. -

Audi 100 1989 - Why older cars have big fuel tank than the new? 17 Nov 2023 (Forum)

Any - Accuracy of mpg computers 26 Jun 2022 (Forum)
At last, a long distance opportunity to check our 2019 Peugeot 1.2 puretech EAT6 130 computer accuracy - a holiday down to Cognac, mainly motorways (smooth clear French ones, bumpy crowded English ones) with a bit of local driving during our stay. Starting mileage approx 13,500, so front tyres (presumably providing the info) approx half worn. -

Advice on Small Claims Process 5 Oct 2021 (Forum)
Hi everyone, I bought a 2009 Peugeot 207 at the very end of July and it stopped working within less than a week due to a blown head gasket (had it sniff tested). As soon as I knew what was wrong, I spoke to the garage who sold it to me (recorded phone calls) and sent them letters to request a repair/refund under the Consumer Rights Act (recorded delivery), and all I've had in response is intimidation attempts or just ignoring letters. -
What to choose for long motorway trips? 16 Mar 2021 (Forum)
I’ve had this one since new but it’s now at 157,000 miles and showing its age. The second car was a 2001 Peugeot 206 2.0 diesel HDi which I owned from new, and covered 100,000 miles before it succumbed to the ‘corrosion virus’ so we had to scrap it last year. I tend to keep my cars running for many years, the best ever was a diesel 2.0 Vectra which I ran to 212k miles then gave it to a family member. -
Upgrading from a Honda Jazz (new used car advice) 19 Jul 2020 (Forum)
Although it’s possible I may use it for commuting I perfectly happy to stay with Honda, but can adventure to other brands. Cars I looked at are the Nissan Qashqai Peugeot 3000, Hr-v’ cr-v Kia Soul so I’m looking for something with more power, bigger boot, Auto transmission and uses petrol Most models in the Uk can be found in France, there can be some different engine choices though. -

That is the question.... - So the kids have left home......... 23 Jul 2016 (Forum)
Cars I like the look of....Honda Legend, Mazda 6 or 3 MPS, Lexus IS250, Lexus GS300, Mazda 6 high spec Zugara or similar with 2.3l engines. I want something different...I have 3 other cars I can drive...Peugeot 207GTI, Corolla T Sport. They give me the fun factor. MPG not a major issue as only doing 5000 miles a year in it. Discounting diesels as well. Maybe need to be careful of road tax....£495 yikes! -

2005 Picasso Hdi 50k miles - Citroen Picasso engine management light 26 Jul 2013 (Forum)
Have a 2005 reg Citroen Picasso 2.0l diesel, only 50k on the clock, About a year ago the engine management lit came on randomly after driving perfectly to our local garage (garage was ouR main Peugeot dealer) and they found several faults and replaced sensors. Mathis scenario has continued from dec to June when they had our car most of the time ... I'd have got it one for a day and light would have came on again, but they said the diagnostic machine always through up a different fault, Fuel pressure sensor has also been replaced, Engine management light came on again and it was decided to replace the ECU ... -
Ford Focus - Best car to buy? 13 Apr 2013 (Forum)
So far the best car seems to be the focus, but ive read alot on the turbo problems with the 1.6tdci peugeot engines in them which were the engines we were looking at because i can also be insured on it as im 19 and insurance quotes arnt too bad. Focus seems to win on MPG,space speed price looks and just about everything, the car will come from a dealer with a 3 month warranty although not a ford dealer,is this really just a bad choice of car,as its to my understanding that the focus was the best selling car in britain so common faults are more often talked about than other cars.
